We're brand-new parents finding our feet with our son Paul, who just turned one and has recently mastered the art of climbing out of everything we thought was climb-proof. Julia works as a radiologist with rotating shifts, Simon runs his own small architecture studio, and between us we're looking for an au pair who is genuinely confident with babies and comfortable with a schedule that shifts week to week.

We live in a bright apartment near the Rhine, a short walk from the cathedral and the old town. Days revolve around Paul's naps, walks along the river, and baby groups, and we'd love someone patient and affectionate who's excited to watch him grow through his first big year of milestones.
