We're a fairly relaxed family of three — Jonas is an automotive engineer with regular hours, Nina runs wellness workshops a few days a week, and our daughter Emma (6) is sporty, sociable, and always the last one out of the swimming pool. We're looking for an au pair who's active, patient, and happy to help Emma with her (extremely enthusiastic) gymnastics practice.
Our house sits on the edge of the city with vineyard hills right behind it — a genuinely unusual setting for a state capital. Afternoons after school mean gymnastics, the garden, or a walk through the vines, and we eat dinner together most nights. It's a calm, structured household that values the outdoors over screen time.
Family Unique Experience
Stuttgart is greener and hillier than most people expect, ringed by vineyards that turn gold in autumn. It's a major hub for car culture (Nina jokes Jonas has museum privileges at two of them), and Munich, the Black Forest, and Lake Constance are all within easy weekend reach.
