We're a busy Berlin household — Petra works in city administration with steady hours, Tobias is building a start-up and keeps unpredictable ones, and our two kids (7 and 10) are old enough to be genuinely good company but still need a reliable adult around after school. We're looking for an independent, trustworthy au pair who's comfortable managing homework, hobbies, and the occasional last-minute schedule change.
We live in a leafy, family-friendly neighbourhood with a park at the end of the street. Afternoons usually mean music lessons, football training, or just hanging out, and we try to keep dinners together as a fixed point in an otherwise chaotic week. Berlin's size means there's always somewhere new to explore on your days off.
Family Unique Experience
Berlin is one of Europe's most international, creative cities — huge parks, an incredible museum scene, and a very easy place to make friends from all over the world. Our neighbourhood has excellent public transport, so you can be in the city centre in twenty minutes or out at a lake for a swim just as easily.
