Family Bakker

We're the very tired but very happy parents of twin boys, Jip and Sem (both 3), who together are exactly twice the energy you'd expect. Mila runs a small flower shop in town and Willem teaches at the local primary school, so our schedules are busy but fairly predictable. We need an au pair with genuine twin or multiples experience — or at least a lot of patience and a good sense of humour — who can handle two very different three-year-old personalities at once.

Our house backs onto a shared courtyard garden where the boys play most afternoons with the neighbourhood kids. Mornings mean nursery drop-off, afternoons are pick-up and playtime, and dinner is a joyfully chaotic affair we hope you'll join most nights. In spring, the bulb fields nearby turn into an explosion of colour the boys never get tired of running through.
